Fuel types in current inventory include natural gas, diesel, heavy fuel oil, gas oil, and electric. Multi-fuel boilers (natural gas plus diesel, or natural gas plus heavy fuel oil) are also available. Burner manufacturers include Cleaver Brooks, Riello, Saacke, Hamworthy Combustion, Bosch, Babcock Wanson, and others.

IPP stocks boilers in two condition grades: good used (32 units) and unused surplus (2 units—a Euroboilers TH/AR-V1500 hot oil boiler and a Bosch UL-S firetube steam boiler). Unused boilers were manufactured but never installed in process service, offering new-equipment performance with immediate availability.
