Position Overview:

IPP is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role will support the current Controller. The Senior Accountant will play a vital role in financial reporting, strategic projects, and contributing to day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Work closely with the Controller to enhance and streamline accounting processes
• Support monthly and year-end close processes
• Contribute to audit preparation and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
• Help implement financial systems upgrades or integrations, as needed
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accuracy and transparency of financial data
• Provide mentorship and technical accounting guidance to junior staff, as required

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing, industrial, or asset-heavy business
• QuickBooks experience required
• Experience with expense management systems
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal controls
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and work collaboratively with leadership during a time of transition

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of international payments and FX
• Knowledge of VAT
• Experience with payroll processing systems
• Proficient with accounting software and Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred
