We’re seeking a Glass Lined Equipment Technician to help inspect, repair, and maintain specialized glass-lined process equipment at our flagship site in Eastover, SC.

🛠️ What You’ll Do
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform visual inspections, spark testing, and thickness testing on glass-lined equipment
- Manage inventory and condition assessments of reactors and related components
- Repair and replace mechanical seals on glass-lined reactors
- Conduct hydro and pneumatic testing, rebuild reactor systems, and support occasional painting or welding work
- Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and (with training) bobcats, front-end loaders, and other heavy equipment
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Support general industrial maintenance tasks such as:
- Repairing rotating assemblies and drive systems
- Replacing motors, seals, gear reducers, fans, and hydraulic components
- Assisting with rigging, lubrication, and basic pipe repair
- Contributing to facility improvement and equipment staging projects
- Participate in basic carpentry (blocking, bracing, crate construction)
✅ What We’re Looking For
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools confidently
- Comfortable working in industrial environments (hot, dusty, noisy, elevated surfaces)
- Intermediate computer skills (inventory entry, logging inspections, simple invoicing)
- Team player with clear communication skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally and work overtime occasionally
Additional Requirements (training provided where needed):
- Pass pre-employment drug screening
- Forklift certification preferred
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary
- Complete WorkKeys assessments in Applied Math, Graphic Literacy, Workplace Observation, and others (support provided)
- Become qualified for respirator use and confined space entry
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree or certification in Millwright, Welding, Pipefitting, or Machining
- Prior experience in industrial maintenance, plant operations, or mechanical technician role
- Familiarity with glass-lined equipment is a major plus
- Strong understanding of industrial math and measurements
