International Process Plants (IPP) the world’s leading source of quality, used industrial process plants, process systems, and process equipment with company-owned offices in 14 countries to meet the needs of over 160,000 customers globally is looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our customer base.

This person will have the opportunity to build a proactive sales team and new target segments to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with new customers.


  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales leader, or a relevant role
  • Proven sales track record
  • Experience in customer support is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., HubSpot)
  • Proficiency in English
  • Market knowledge
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Time management and planning skills
  • BS/BA in business administration, sales, or relevant field


  • Develop a growth strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Develop a proactive sales process for this new team to cultivate new relationships for IPP. This includes developing a strategy to find and develop relationships with PE firms and their
  • Operating Companies to better understand their short-, medium-, and long-term growth objectives to discuss the purchase of process plants their group may no longer need and
  • discuss what IPP can do to save them time and money in meeting ongoing plant and equipment needs. Build long-term relationships with these new customers.
  • Hire a team of early career business development representatives and develop them into valuable salespeople
  • Participate in the research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
